Homework Zoology:

1. Collect Information Related to Mini-project: Animal being studied, Endotherm, Ectotherm, etc., (ethology, ethogram)

2. Cheddarville exercize: develop Problem Statement and Hypothesis for study.

3. Read p.16-30 (Miller/Harley) LOG

1. Read Chapter 1 (Bluman): think about chapter in relation to the data that you are collecting.

2. Do p. 23 # 1,5,6 (Due)

Due: One page write up sharing the information that you discovered related to the Region in which you began collecting information on Wednesday. Write up should read like an informative newspaper article complete with Title and your Name. (Neat, clean, accurate, proper format.)

Objectives:

1. 12:30 - 1:00 Discuss Correlation: (weather/activity- correlation study): Research Methodology/design, controls, variables; map yard, detemine the type of data to be collected during the next 2 weeks, gather data.

2. Assign Subjects for Ethogram Correlation Study

3. Develop Exhibit Lot Map

4. Continue Mapping Study/Keeper Talks

5. 1:00 - 2:30 Animal handling training (Tables A,B & Joel)

Homework Zoology: Gather Information for the "Review of Literature" portion of your Ethogram Study. Find at least 3 pieces of Quote information (from 2 different types of reputable resources) that you can use in your "Review of Literature" to support the development of a testable Hypothesis. Remember to record the information necessary to include proper CITATIONS and REFERENCES for each of the 3 quotes.

2. Computer: Develop spreadsheet to complete a statistical analysis of the data that you collect from your Ethogram Study. Search internet for information related to Ethogam Study.

3. Observations: Ethogram -Collect data (weather/activity correlation study)

4. Media Center: Visit Media Center to review resources related to Ethogam Study.

Homework:

1. Gather Information for the "Review of Literature" portion of your Ethogram Study. Find at least 3 pieces of exact Quote information (from 2 different types of reputable resources) that you can use in your "Review of Literature" to support the development of a testable Hypothesis. Remember to record the information necessary to develop proper CITATIONS and REFERENCES for each of the 3 quotes.

2. Make sure that Lot Map for Mini-thesis is completed in LOG.

3. Complete the reading of p. 17-30 in Miller/Harley. Log important information.

4. Visit Media Center to review resources related to your Ethogam Study.
